Monte Grande Warranty
Each Monte Grande piece is handcrafted with precision and a deep understanding of material behavior. Our products are built to endure, and this warranty reflects our commitment to quality, structural integrity, and responsible craftsmanship.
Monte Grande warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of three (3) years from the date of delivery.
Products used in commercial, hospitality, or high-traffic environments are covered for a period of one (1) year under the same terms.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Monte Grande’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to defects that affect the structural integrity or functional performance of the product, including but not limited to failures in fabrication, assembly, or welding.
Due to the handcrafted nature of our work, minor variations in dimensions, surface texture, hammering patterns, and finish are inherent to the manufacturing process and are not considered defects.
Copper, brass, and other metals used in our products are living materials that naturally evolve over time. Surface changes such as patina development, oxidation, tonal variation, and color shifts are expected and are part of the material’s character. These changes may occur immediately or progressively depending on use, handling, and environmental conditions.
Protective finishes, sealers, and clear coatings are applied to enhance the initial appearance and performance of the product; however, they are inherently subject to wear, aging, and variation over time. This includes, but is not limited to, scratching, scuffing, dulling, staining, dents, minor surface abrasions, and localized wear resulting from use, cleaning practices, heat exposure, and environmental conditions.
Such changes are considered normal behavior of protective coatings and surfaces, and are not regarded as manufacturing defects under this warranty.
This warranty does not cover:
Surface changes including patina, oxidation, discoloration, or finish variation
Wear or deterioration of protective coatings, sealers, or clear finishes
Normal wear and tear resulting from use over time, including scratches, dents, marks, or surface abrasions
Damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, or lack of maintenance
Exposure to extreme environmental conditions, including outdoor weathering, humidity, salt air, or direct heat sources beyond intended use
Use of abrasive or chemical cleaning agents
Modifications, alterations, or repairs performed by third parties
Products used in commercial or hospitality environments are subject to increased wear due to frequency of use, cleaning protocols, and environmental exposure. Under these conditions, surface changes, finish wear, and material evolution may occur at an accelerated rate and are considered normal. This warranty applies to structural and manufacturing defects only in such applications.
Custom and made-to-order pieces are produced based on specifications approved by the client. These products are not eligible for returns or exchanges. This warranty applies solely to manufacturing defects and does not cover aspects related to design approval, aesthetic preferences, or specification changes once production has begun.
To submit a warranty claim, the original purchaser must contact Monte Grande at support@montegrande.com with proof of purchase, order details, and supporting documentation, including photographs of the issue. All claims are subject to evaluation.
At its sole discretion, Monte Grande will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement of the affected component, or other corrective action.
Monte Grande is not responsible for shipping costs, transportation fees, labor, installation, removal, or any indirect or consequential damages associated with warranty claims.
This warranty provides specific legal rights, and additional rights may vary depending on jurisdiction.
